The River of Time

In the beginning human beings wandered the earth, co-existing with nature and the universe. To complete life human beings created culture, the activity that defines identity, honouring unique lifestyles and distinguishing herself from the rest. Alongside culture, spirituality became their cornerstone for survival, growth and development. As the stream of time evolved and civilisations unfolded, so too came new ways of life and the threat of cultural extinction.

While new forms of life are embraced, culture and spirituality have to be preserved, to link the past with the present and the future, in an everlasting quest of defining and redefining our identity, purpose and meaningful contribution to the greatness of mankind. Man will always adapt, for the new is of her own creation. Culture and Spirituality, however, should not fall behind when man advances to the next world.

Ngoma World is Africa’s mission to celebrate and preserve culture and spirituality, to acknowledge the beginning, weave it within the ongoing evolution of life and thus influence the future, which will forever be anchored on the origins of mankind.

The Future

In the future man will continue wandering the earth, negotiating her habitation with nature, the animal kingdom and the universe. Man will come across great challenges to preserve her perpetual existence and will look towards the past for solutions of survival. The planet and the universe will get annoyed with some of man’s advancements and may react harshly.

To cab her total extinction, man will look towards spirituality, culture and heritage to connect with the wisdom of the first people in order to traverse her ordeals and march towards eternity.
