Water Cleansing
Every person who enters Ngoma World Sanctuary has to wash their hands with water. This is an act of cleansing oneself and declaring to one’s consciousness that one is now entering a spiritual holy space.
Candles
Most of the activities at Ngoma World Sanctuary involve lighting candles. Candles provide the fire Light that we need in our lives. Every intervention that we seek is given strength through Light; hence lighting candles is common to most of the activities that take place at Ngoma World Sanctuary.
Incense
Different types of incense, the most common one being impepho, are used to clear the auric energy fields of space and individuals as part of facilitating the spiritual experiences that people get involved with at this holy sanctuary.
Libations
Different offerings of libations are used at the various shrines to facilitate communion regarding the various experiences at the holy sanctuary. Water, alcohol and soft drinks are used for libations. It is crucial to note that the shrines are made of rocks, to bring in the complementary strength of rocks to the spiritual experience. Rocks are the holders of the ancient memory of time.
Tobacco
Snuff and other forms of tobacco are also used as part of offerings at the various shrines at Ngoma World.
Food
Different types of food are also offered at some of the shrines as part of facilitating the various spiritual experiences at the holy sanctuary.
